BodyTite™ is a minimally invasive device for body contouring delivering results previously only achieved through excisional procedures. BodyTite™™ is powered by directional RadioFrequency resulting in three-dimensional tissue remodeling through fat coagulation and volumetric heating. The coagulation of fat using RadioFrequency-induced heat results in RadioFrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL).

The RadioFrequency energy not only melts excess fat but triggers a secondary healing response in the body, selectively degenerating older collagen fibres between the and promoting the construction of new collagen through a stimulus of the fibroblasts.

BodyTite™ is ideal for removing surplus fat from the abdomen or wait (love handles), hips, inner and outer thighs, chin, neck, ankles. back, arms and knees.

After a thorough consultation, your doctor will apply a local anaesthetic to the treatment area before making a 3mm incision into which a probe is placed which runs parallel to the BodyTite™ hand-piece.

Together, the hand-piece and probe deliver RadioFrequency energy to the adipose tissue in the treatment area melting the fat cells so they can be expelled naturally by the body.

The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area and can be completed in 1 treatment session.

The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic to minimise any discomfort.

BodyTite™ is a safer, gentler, and less traumatic alternative than traditional liposuction. Because it is minimally invasive there is no risk of scarring and no need for stitches.

Common side effects include skin sensitivity, redness, bruising and swelling but these should resolve on their own accord within a few days.

Most patients are able to resume their daily activities after a few days. Gentle exercise can be resumed after 2-3 weeks.

Results of your BodyTite™ treatment will be visible immediately (as soon as any initial swelling subsides). The results should be permanent however, as with many weight loss and fat reduction procedures, this will only be the case if you continue to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle following treatment. BodyTite™ does not prevent future weight gain.

Longevity varies from patient to patient. Results in younger patients last for many years as long as weight remains stable.
